Developer and publisher JanduSoft has announced the release of Indiecalypse for all major consoles and PC. Take a wild ride through the eyes of three characters in an indie game company and discover how each of the characters’ personalities degenerates THROUGH DARK HUMOR MINI-GAMES. Indiecalypse showcases the untold story behind an indie game developing company. Three stories, three outcasts, three nerds… and a single destiny: to make the best video game ever. Indiecalypse depicts the crude reality of indie game developers and their struggles to get it together when it comes to releasing a video game. Three misfits team up to design and produce their own indie game, finding themselves in a path of chaos, self-destruction and resentment. But there’s also space for crude humor, pop culture references, gratuitous and non-gratuitous violence… and fear.
You choose to play as Jack the programmer, Ethan the musician or Violet the artist. Players live the characters lives as they develop a game and go through a turmoil of events as the game unfolds. The game’s main mechanic is based on modern exploration/adventure games, but Indiecalypse also includes more than 20 mini-games inspired by many pop culture video games. Also together with the game’s release, the publishers have also announced an Ultra Collectors physical edition of Indiecalypse available for the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch which will include the following:

This edition is limited to 2000 units on Nintendo Switch, and 1000 units on Sony Playstation 4 and they are expected to run out soon. Indiecalypse is also the first game to be featured for an Ultra Collector’s edition, be sure to get your hands on this as they sell like hotcakes!
