PlayStation 5’s Game Reveal This June 4 is Cancelled, For a Noble Cause.

Fans around the world have set their alarms and calendars for what could have been one of the biggest reveals of 2020 so far. Ahead of its reveal date of June 4th, Sony has recently announced that the event will be postponed indefinitely to make way for more “More important voices to be heard” and says that “Now is not the time for celebration”.

    An official tweet below:-

The announcement seemingly echoes the sentiment of the general public over the death of one 46-year old African-American man named George Floyd on May 25 this year at the hands of police brutality that occurred in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

The incident has sparked an uproar in the USA and around the world, causing massive protests and riots in all 50 states in the USA as well as other places internationally.

No new date has been set yet for the re-scheduled event. Sony has acknowledged that many gamers around the world will be frustrated with their decision, but are asking everyone to bear with them as the current turmoil in the US unfolds and hopefully recovers as soon as it started.
