MSI Unveils Next-Gen QD-OLED Monitors With Advanced Features

MSI is setting a new benchmark in visual technology with the unveiling of its next-generation QD-OLED monitors. The 2024 product lineup is engineered to deliver an exceptional viewing experience, featuring advanced sub-pixel arrangements for sharper images, reduced colour fringing, and the innovative OLED Care 2.0 for enhanced screen protection.

The fan-less design, incorporating Graphene for thermal conductivity, ensures silent operation and efficient heat dispersion, extending the lifespan of these cutting-edge panels.

The highlights of MSI’s new QD-OLED range are two curved models, the MPG 491CQP and MAG 341CQP QD-OLED. The MPG 491CQP, a 49-inch monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio, 5120×1440 resolution, and 1800R curvature, merges OLED and Quantum Dot technology to provide a highly immersive gaming experience with a 144Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GTG response time.

MAG 341CQP, a 34-inch model, offers a 21:9 aspect ratio with an 1800R curved panel, ensuring immersion with its 0.03ms GTG response time and 175Hz refresh rate. This model has also been recognized with the iF DESIGN AWARD.

Both models boast VESA ClearMR 9000 and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certifications, delivering superior motion blur visuals and vivid imagery.

Addressing the demand for flat panels, MSI introduces the MAG 321UPX and MAG 271UPX QD OLED models, catering to gamers’ desires for high-speed performance in both FPS and AAA games with options ranging from 27” WQHD 360Hz to 32” 4K 240Hz.

The new QD-OLED monitors come equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports supporting full 48Gbps bandwidth, 120Hz, VRR, ALLM for console gaming, and CEC for unified device control. Type-C functionality enhances connectivity with mobile devices.

MSI is also introducing OLED Care 2.0, offering a 3-year warranty that covers not only standard issues but also protection against burn-in. This advanced version includes features like Boundary Detection, TaskBar Detection, and Multi Logo Detection to prevent burn-in by reducing the luminance of static objects on the screen.
