Stunlock Studios Releases First Gameplay Trailer For Major V Rising Update

Stunlock Studios released a gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated “Secrets of Gloomrot”, the first major content update for V Rising, coming May 17th. While the upcoming update covers improvements all across the game, this first-ever gameplay sneak peek focuses on the new biome: Gloomrot. Navigate polluted valleys and lightning-scorched highlands to face the mutated experiments and mechanical wonders spawned from the twisted imaginations of the Trancendum. Hunt the blood of the brilliantly insane to harness the power of lightning and enter a new age of technology. Gloomrot will be one of the bigger regions in the game, almost the size of Dunley Farmlands.

In addition to adding a new biome, players can look forward to a long list of improvements and new content. Castle building will be dramatically improved, allowing for multiple floor construction, claiming castle territories, and adding more ways to customize your domain. Combat will be more diverse with new weapon types and a new spell school, as well as letting players modify their spells to their liking with the jewel system. The world of Vardoran has also been revamped with new points of interest to visit, visual updates, new items, and enemy types. There will also be a total of 13 additional bosses to hunt down to obtain arcane knowledge. All this and more as Secrets of Gloomrot drops on May 17th. Check out the website: website.
