Below – Explorer Mode Announced For This Dungeon Crawling Action-Adventure Game.

Capybara Games has announced that BELOW is coming to the PlayStation 4, accompanied by a brand new mode called EXPLORE, that focuses on explorations more than difficulty in a unique world. The new mode will also be coming to the previously released Xbox One and Steam.

    Deep dive into the depths.

EXPLORE Mode will provide for players who seek more action-oriented gameplay than survival, as they delve deeper into the depths and unravel the mysteries of the dark world of BELOW. Those looking for a more challenging survival experience will find it in the original game mode, now called SURVIVE.

EXPLORE mode is our way of answering everyone who played BELOW at launch and found the challenge a bit too steep- It was clear that many players were intrigued by the game’s haunting underworld and rich atmosphere, but its difficulty made the game inaccessible to some. We hope to see new players get into BELOW, and for seasoned players to revisit The Isle and enjoy the game in a whole new way.”

Test your adventurer mettle against The Isle’s procedural subterranean labyrinths. Explore a large, interconnected underworld crawling with cunning wildlife, deadly traps and stalked by a shadowy presence. Survive the perils of The Depths and unearth what lies below… or die trying. The game launches on the PlayStation 4 this spring 2020.
