Arcade Time Manager Game, Pixel Cafe, Coming Nov 30 On Multiple Platforms

Baltoro Games has announced the upcoming release of their new project, “Pixel Cafe,” slated for November 30, 2023. The game, which will be available on platforms such as Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox, is designed as a hybrid experience combining elements of an arcade time manager with a visual novel.

    About Pixel Cafe

In “Pixel Cafe,” players will step into the shoes of the character Pixel, a barista operating in the fictional town of Karstok. The gameplay involves undertaking daily tasks within a local diner, interacting with various characters, and managing responsibilities that range from serving customers to unlocking new culinary recipes.

The narrative aspect delves into Pixel’s background, particularly focusing on her family history and its impact on her current life. This storyline is juxtaposed against the backdrop of her daily activities, providing a dual narrative structure that informs the character’s motivations and player choices within the game.

Apart from its narrative and arcade-style time management gameplay, “Pixel Cafe” also allows players to engage in home customization. Earnings from in-game activities can be used to redecorate and personalize Pixel’s living space, reflecting a slice-of-life element within the game’s structure.

Complementing the visual experience, the game features an original soundtrack composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski, known for his previous work in video game music.

Pixel Cafe will be launching this November 30 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. A demo of the game is available on Steam.
