Publisher Electronic Arts debuts a new trailer for Anthem at The Game Awards 2018 with a clear statement. It will have a story-driven campaign with the trailers showcasing amazing facial animations.
If there is good, there will be darkness
This time around, the trailer shows a new antagonist known as Monitor sporting a black Anthem suit with void like powers engulfing his right hand. Developer Bioware mentions that Monitor is a leader of a militaristic organization known as the Dominion.
Your group the Freelancers, is a group of mercenaries solely tasked to fight aliens, as a result of the Anthem of Creation, which is basically an energy source existing in this game world. It is safe to assume that the military Dominion wants total dominion of the energy source, with the Anthem suits as well as the end of the world.
Anthem closed alpha will be running from December 8 to December 9, 2018 and its due out on February 22, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
