‘Age of Water’ Brings Post-Apocalyptic Naval Adventures To Steam In Q1 2024

Gaijin Entertainment, in collaboration with Three Whales Studio, has announced that their new online adventure game, “Age of Water,” is slated for release in the first quarter of 2024 on Steam.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world where rising sea levels have engulfed all land, the game presents a unique water world setting for players to explore. While the exact price and release date are yet to be disclosed, interested gamers can add “Age of Water” to their Steam wishlist to stay updated.

In “Age of Water,” players navigate a vast oceanic expanse on a battle-ready boat, engaging in various activities. These include skirmishes with pirates, retrieving artifacts from the sea’s depths, transporting goods, and fulfilling faction tasks.

The game offers a blend of structured narrative and open-world exploration, allowing players to carve their own path through trading, shipboarding, engaging in PvP battles, or building their base.

Yuri Miroshnikov, the game’s producer, expressed gratitude towards the alpha and beta test participants for their significant contributions to the game’s development. He emphasized the team’s dedication to creating an immersive sea adventure experience where players feel like the protagonists of an epic tale.

“Age of Water” will initially be released as an Early Access title, with ongoing enhancements based on user feedback. Despite this, players will have access to the complete storyline from the outset, without incurring additional costs. Those who participated in the Closed Beta and purchased access bundles in Summer 2023 will receive a free edition of the game on Steam.

Developed under Gaijin Entertainment’s inCubator program, which supports emerging game studios, “Age of Water” promises to be a unique addition to the gaming landscape. Further information about the game is available on the official “Age of Water” website.
