Razer, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers has just announced that its cloud-based hardware configuration tool, Razer Synapse 3, will now feature Amazon’s Alexa through a dedicated module for complete desktop and smart home integration.

The announcement also confirmed that the new features can be accessed without the need for additional Alexa hardware. Over 500 hardware devices including those from third-party brands like MSI, Thermaltake, and AMD are now supported by Razer Synapse 3 and could enjoy the new Alexa function.

Razer Synapse 3 users may use the new Alexa Voice Service, giving them control over their PC and Chrome compatible smart home devices. For example, by just using voice commands, one can ask Alexa to activate their Chroma lighting, Open a Browser, Start a Chroma party by enabling the Chroma audio visualizer feature.

The Alexa module also gives users access to a host of Alexa services and functions like Real-time news, weather updates, smart home controls, Alexa skills, and more, all accessible through the existing PC or headset microphone.

So, there you have it. Alexa’s voice commands at your disposal at no cost of new hardware. All you need is just to make sure you have the latest Razer Synapse 3 and Synapse 3 supported devices.
