Upcoming Games To Look Forward To This March 2022!

We may have thought February brought in many lists of games, and probably by now we are still playing Elden Ring ourselves to this day. Yet to our surprise, March 2022 comes with a jam-packed assortment of games genres be it indie, racing, wrestling, slash ’em up, action RPG, and even Tactical RPG. We’ve put together a list of games below that we thought might be interesting to play once they’re released.

Babylon’s Fall

The upcoming action RPG produced by Square Enix and developed by PlatinumGames promises a refined multiplayer high-octane hack-and-slash like Nier Automata. Babylon’s Fall is heading your way on March 3rd, 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC Steam. Demos are out now on PS4 and PS5 to try it out as well before making a purchase decision.

Featuring unique visuals referred to as the original “Brushwork Filter” of reminiscent of living medieval oil paintings to the world. Play as a Sentinel with your friends as you’ll gain the ability to wield a mighty arsenal of up to four weapons to experiment on with multiple arrays of combo.

Triangle Strategy

If Tactics Ogre or Final Fantasy Tactics was your favourite, the upcoming title will definitely scratch that classic itch as Tactical RPG Triangle Strategy by Square Enix, is scheduled to be released on March 4th, 2022 on Nintendo Switch. Currently, Triangle Strategy also comes with a prologue demo (Chapters 1-3) for anyone to try out before emptying their wallets.

In addition to decent voice acting, Triangle Strategy HD-2D visual style graphics includes sparkling waters, shimmering pixelated art, as well as animated flowing magic attacks, where the key to success is positioning your units effectively – dealing a follow up the damage by other adjacent ally units on the opposite side of the enemy. While I have yet encountered any random combat (for grinding purposes), Triangle Strategy has options for encampments (mock-up battles), looking into the cities for clues, and hidden shiny loots that can be a challenge hidden among the shimmering designed environment.

Gran Turismo 7

Racing our way to release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on March 4th, 2022 with over 420 cars available at Brand Central and the Used Car Dealership, as announced by developer Polyphony Digital and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment.

WWE 2K22 will be coming on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 11th, 2022.

Additionally adding new modes to the WWE 2K experience: MyGM and MyFACTION. In MyGM, players step into the role of a WWE General Manager and call the shots on their way to building the biggest brand in the WWE Universe. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

The next action RPG, Stranger Of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin by developer Koei Tecmo Games and Team Ninja, and published by Square Enix, will be coming on Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store on March 18th, 2022.

With a multitude of job classes, abilities, and combos as your arsenal – beat and break all enemies of darkness into shattering crystals. Fear not, as you are not alone as there is an option to play with friends in a group of up to 3 players through online co-op multiplayer mode.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

I’m pretty stoked about this title because it offers me a world similar to Shin Megami Tensei, but in an FPS environment shooting magical bullets right at the faces of ghosts or demons that are out to get you, and best of all it’s set in Tokyo, not Mars. Developer Tango Gameworks and publisher Bethesda Softworks confirm GhostWire: Tokyo to be coming to PC and PlayStation 5 on March 25th, 2022.

Onde

When I tried the games in Steam Next Fest February 2022 event, one that stood out is indie Onde by developer Lance and publisher Mixtvision. The Sound-surfing platformer will be resonating a release on PC on March 17th, 2022, followed by Nintendo and IOS later in 2022.

Weird West

Isometric-looking cowboy shooter will be coming to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 4 on March 31st, 2022 as announced by developer WolfEye Studios and publisher Devolver Digital. Set in the heart of the West with fantastical monsters, play with each playthrough that is unique as the game tailors the story to the player’s actions and past choices for an ideal dramatic arc.

Shadow Warrior 3

Offbeat first-person shooter series by developer Flying Wild Hog and publisher Devolver Digital is taken to the next level with a seamless blend of fast-paced gunplay, razor-sharp melee combat, and a spectacular free-running movement system. Young Souls
