No Straight Roads is the first game from an indie developer Metronomik which is based in Malaysia. A new PAX East 2019 trailer is showed off featuring one of the boss fights titled “DJ Subatomic Supernova”. Check out this scratching trailer below:
A game that embodies both music and game-play
This is a rhythm-based action platforming game which tells a story about two indie rockers rising to the top against the dominant EDM record label.
A few resonating features:
- Stylish colors and cartoonish character design
- Music has a physical line designs upon unleashing attacks
- Ending a boss fights with a showstopper as a finale
- At the moment, the trailer seems to focus more on boss fights turning into rhythm based platforming upon different stages of the boss fight.
No Straight Roads will be having a gig soon in Spring 2019 releasing on PlayStation 4 and PC so stay tuned for the tour dates
