Developer HEXWORKS (a CI Games studio) revealed a technical showcase for the much-anticipated AAA dark-fantasy action-RPG Lords of the Fallen at GDC 2023 as part of Epic’s State of Unreal keynote. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the reboot will launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S this year and is available to wishlist on all platforms now.
Lords of the Fallen’s technical showcase unveiled the journey to Skyrest Bridge, one of the game’s early locations, demonstrating some of the impressive ways Unreal Engine 5’s state-of-the-art technologies have helped HEXWORKS deliver on the ambitious vision for the upcoming action RPG.
Spectators saw impressive character customization and adaptable armor, the Lumen Global Illumination lighting, and finally, the vast interconnected world where players will have the ability to travel between two worlds: Axiom, the realm of the living, and Umbral, the realm of the dead. The two worlds will allow players to effortlessly swap between them, even if one side is unmistakably more horrific than the other…

Lords of the Fallen is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players are now able to wishlist the game on Steam and console digital stores.
