Helldivers 2 First Balance Patch Nerf The Most Used Weapon Railgun

Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead has finally released the latest patch which changed the most used Railgun, Breaker and Shield Generator Backpack. All the changes are revealed in a Discord post but this blog posted by Arrowhead’s Head of Product Testing, Patrik Lasota, has more detail about their philosophies about balancing.

Highlights of the patch notes include:

• Changes to several weapons including the Railgun, Breaker, and Breaker Spray & Pray.
• Big buff to Flamethrower, Laser Cannon and Punisher
• Eradicate missions will require more kills to complete
• Energy Shield Backpack recharge time increased
• Armor rating is now fixed
