Gran Turismo Sport latest update brings a list of new things into the game. In total, the new update will bring in 7 new cars, and a new circuit which will have 3 layout option. Here is the list of cars in the new update.
- Mercedes AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+ 2017 (Gr.X)
- Mazda 787B ’91 (Gr.1)
- Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car (Gr.3)
- Ferrari 250 GTO CN.3729GT ’62 (Gr.X)
- HONDA S660 ’15 (N100)
- Honda Beat ’91 (N100)
- Daihatsu Copen Active Top ’02 (N100)
Included in the update is the ability to apply decal on your racing suit and helmets.
The update also allows players to purchase virtual cars using real money. The virtual car sales is currently up for the Asia and North America PlayStation Store at the moment and will come to other regions soon. A quick check at Malaysia’s PlayStation Store under Newest Add-ons shows more than 200 cars available for purchase priced between RM4 to RM11.
The selection of cars available for purchase is only limited to those which cost below 2 million credit in the game. Most high-end cars in the game still have to be earned by playing the game. This comes as a surprise for many as during the PlayStation Experience 2017 here in Kuala Lumpur, the CEO of Polyphony Digital, Kazunori Yamauchi himself said that there will be no microtransaction in this game.
