Gothic Vampire Survival Game V Rising Awakens On PlayStation 5 This Year

Swedish game developer Stunlock Studios has announced that their hotly anticipated open-world fantasy survival game V Rising will be coming exclusively to PlayStation 5 later this year.

    More about the Game Improvements

Following V Rising’s rewarding Early Access period on PC with more than 3.9M copies sold and sitting on an impressive 88% positive reviews on Steam, the PlayStation launch marks V Rising and Stunlock Studio’s first step in expanding beyond the PC space into the world of consoles.
Partnering with Sony and with additional support from Auroch Digital, Stunlock Studios has focused on creating optimal console gameplay with UI improvements, DualSense game controller support, and a much smoother overall experience that will benefit all players regardless of their platform choice.
As a lifelong gamer, playing V Rising on the PS5 has been a standout experience for me – This launch is a significant milestone for Stunlock Studios, as we’ve leveraged Unity technology to push boundaries and elevate our game to new heights. We’re excited for both our dedicated fans and newcomers to embark on this epic vampire journey. With the help of our partners, we’re not just launching a game; we’re setting the stage to keep on rising

Rickard Frisegård – CEO of Stunlock Studios

    More on V Rising:

Survive as a newly awakened vampire in a world ruled by humans and rise to become the next Dracula. Feed on blood to gain new powers, hide from the scorching sun, and engage in real-time PvE and PvP combat set in a dark fantasy realm.

Raise your castle and invite friends to join you as you explore a vast open world, pillage villages, skirmish with bandits, and delve into the lairs of supernatural beasts. Attack other players’ castles, or become a diplomat in a game of blood, power, and betrayal.
