Yes, everything you heard about it coming on November 8 is true.
Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore Private Limited (or SIES) has announced that the highly-anticipated title from the legendary Hideo Kojima, DEATH STRANDING, will officially launch on November 8, 2019.
Before we go into the details of the pre-order and pricing, here’s a message from the man himself.
A special message from Hideo Kojima:
People have created “Walls” and become accustomed to living in isolation.
“DEATH STRANDING” is a completely new type of action game, where the goal of the player is to reconnect isolated cities and a fragmented society. It is created so that all elements, including the story and gameplay, are bound together by the theme of the “Strand” or connection.
As Sam Porter Bridges, you will attempt to bridge the divides in society, and in doing create new bonds or “Strands” with other players around the globe. Through your experience playing the game, I hope you’ll come to understand the true importance of forging connections with others.
Resuming on the details of the pre-order and pricing;
- The suggested retail price of Blu-ray Disc Standard Edition will be MYR 239.
- Blu-ray Disc Special Edition will be MYR 299.
- Digital Standard Edition will be MYR 239.
- Digital Deluxe Edition will be MYR 329.
More details will come for Blu-ray Disc Collector’s Edition at a later date.
SIES also revealed that Digital pre-orders for DEATH STRANDING begins today. You’ll have the option to choose between the Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition – both of which include the full game and bonus incentives for early purchase.
