LG Electronics (LG) will be naming the best player of the popular free-to-play multiplayer tactical first-person shooter (FPS) from Riot Games, Valorant at the first-ever LG UltraGear FACE-OFF tournament. The event will be held on the 3 October 16:00 EDT (4 October 4:00 GMT+8) and will be stream live on LG’s official Twitch Channel.
Valorant is the latest game released by Riot Games which pits teams of five players against one another in a battle that both requires skill and strategy. A total of 20 popular gamers each specializing in one particular multiplayer FPS genre including Overwatch, Fortnite, Call of Duty and CS:GO will compete for the title of Valorant winner.
All the competitors will be using LG’s premium monitor, LG UltraGear model 27GN950 with its world’s first 4K 1 millisecond Gray-to-Gray (GTG) IPS gaming monitor. The monitor is designed for gaming experiences, featuring LG’s 4K Nano IPS display technology and offering 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space and lightning-fast response time.
