    Zenless Zone Zero Opens Sign-Ups For Its Amplifying Test

    HoYoverse has opened sign-ups for a new round of closed beta testing for its urban fantasy ARPG, Zenless Zone Zero. This test, named the Amplifying Test, is set to introduce fresh content and major enhancements to the gameplay experience, available on PC, iOS, and Android platforms.

    The upcoming beta will feature substantial modifications to the combat and Hollow exploration systems to enhance their dynamics, alongside the introduction of a new character, a new faction, advanced Bangboo mechanics, and the combat challenge — Shiyu Defense.

    Set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization has crumbled due to supernatural disasters known as Hollows, Zenless Zone Zero takes place in New Eridu, the last stronghold of modern civilization. Players assume the role of a Proxy, delving into the mysteries of New Eridu and battling unknown foes.

    The Amplifying Test will unveil a new character, Zhu Yuan, and a new faction, the New Eridu Public Security’s Criminal Investigation Special Response Team. Additionally, players will encounter new Bangboo models equipped with a combat technique called Bangboo chain attacks. The upgraded Hollow Deep Dive System (HDD) will allow players to engage in boss battles more directly, enhancing the gameplay experience.

    This closed beta test aims to refine the overall game dynamics, making combat more engaging and introducing more urban life events and city guidance in New Eridu to provide an immersive experience for its “citizens.”
