‘Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin’ is set to expand its universe with the addition of two new Hero DLCs on March 20.
This update promises to introduce fresh dynamics into the gameplay with the addition of Kurdoss Valentian, The Craven King, and the Gaunt Summoner. These characters, each with their unique abilities and lore, aim to enrich the player’s experience in the mystical lands of Ghur.
The Craven King brings a sinister presence to the battlefield, with skills that can silence enemy squads and disrupt their command structures. His Sepulchral Sceptre is anticipated to be a game-changer in close combat scenarios. On the other hand, the Gaunt Summoner offers a more strategic approach, allowing players to manipulate the battlefield with powerful spells and summoned daemons, embodying the cunning and trickery associated with Tzeentch.
These additions are not just about new characters; they signify a deeper dive into the lore of the Age of Sigmar universe, offering players more ways to engage with its rich storytelling. The accompanying free update is also set to improve the overall gameplay experience with new maps, enhanced balancing, and quality-of-life improvements like the highly requested squad stances.
Each Hero DLC will be available separately for a suggested retail price of £3.99/$4.99/€4.99, or together as part of a bundle for £6.99/$8.99/€8.99. This brand-new content will require the Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin base game to download and play.
