THQ Nordic has announced recently their acquisition of Pow Wow Entertainment, making it a 100% subsidiary company.
As of now, the studio is working on two undisclosed projects, one of which projects belongs to the franchise portfolio of THQ Nordic.
The acquisition includes the development studio with its team of around 20 developers, and all IP rights.
The acquisition price will not be disclosed, and Pow Wow will remain an independent development studio under THQ Nordic. The team will keep its full creative freedom and will self-publish their games going forward.
