    Nintendo’s round-up of Nintendo Direct can get pretty exciting as this builds up interest in what will come soon or by this year. Here are some of the highlights that we think are pretty interesting, however, if you need to watch the whole video; check out the showcase below.

    Nintendo also brought to light the new undersea exploration game Endless Ocean Luminous, plus five classic games from Rare that are available to play now for Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members.



    THQ Nordic announced that Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, a faithful remake of the beloved classic adventure, is being developed by Purple Lamp in collaboration with Disney Games. The development team was assisted in the remaster by Warren Spector, director of the original Disney Epic Mickey.

    In this classic action-adventure game, players will send Mickey Mouse, armed with a magical paintbrush, on an epic creative journey to brave the dangerous world of Wasteland. Through exciting levels inspired by classic Disney stories, players will paint their path and face a variety of challenges along the way.

    Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Features:

    • Explore a reimagined Wasteland, full of Disney’s timeless characters and stories.
    • Wield the magic brush: Paint to create, thinner to alter. Every choice shapes your story.

    Monster Hunter Stories | Summer 2024

    Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Stories is riding to new realms. The turn-based role-playing game will be launching on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam this Summer.

    Embark on a journey into a colorful world where mighty monsters roam and people make a living by hunting them. Nestled within this land lies a hidden village where the locals follow a different set of customs.

    Here, Monster Riders form bonds with Monsties instead of hunting them. Unlike Hunters, Riders forge bonds and harness the power of kinships stones, allowing them to explore the vast and exhilarating realm together. Fight together in thrilling battles, hatch Monstie eggs, and customize your companion to suit your style.

    Ready your gear and prepare for an epic ride, Monster Hunter Stories will also be getting new features and enhancements in this release:

    • Refined Graphics: Originally released on the Nintendo 3DS, players can now experience riding Monsties in stunning detail on larger screens, enhanced with improved modeling, textures, and lighting in high definition.
    • Now Fully Voiced: Immerse yourself in the adventure with full Japanese and English voiceovers.
    • Additional Language Support: Monster Hunter Stories will have additional language support, newly featuring Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, and Arabic.
    • Museum mode: Delve deeper into the world of Monster Hunter Stories through the newly added Museum mode, featuring the game’s background music and developer sketches.
    • Included Title Updates (TU): Previously only available in Japan, players can now enjoy title updates, unlocking content from TU 1.20 and TU 1.30.

    GUNDAM BREAKER 4 | 2024

    Bandai Namco Europe S.A.S. today released a trailer announcing GUNDAM BREAKER 4, the next entry in the hack-and-slash looter franchise allowing players to customise their Gunpla and fight waves of enemies and bosses. Developed by CRAFTS & MEISTER Co., Ltd, the game will launch in 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.

    About the game

    GUNDAM BREAKER 4 will have players fighting their enemies solo or with up to three friends in co-op multiplayer. In addition, the game goes back to the roots of the franchise letting players create the Gunpla of their dreams with a large collection of mobile suits and parts, as well as a new diorama mode.


    Bandai Namco Europe announced SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream, the first large-scale multiplayer-focused adventure based on the popular Sword Art Online series. Registrations are also open now for a Closed Beta Test scheduled in March.

    The game is set to release in 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and STEAM


    In SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream, a new system is applied to the world of Alfheim Online, but a malfunction causes all worlds and timelines to collide, creating a unique setting and challenging environment for Kirito and other players. All lost in uncharted territory, enemies become allies, departed characters are back and unlikely alliances will be formed to survive the dangers in this unsettled world.

    SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream offers an original story in an All-Star game, focused on a large-scale co-op experience. Players will enjoy playing their favourite characters from the first three seasons of the animated series and Sword Art Online movies, in a cross-play battle action game featuring thrilling boss raids and co-op quests.

    Beta Details

    A Closed Beta Test will be conducted from March 11th to 17th; players can already register on the official website until March 4th to try and take their first steps in SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream.

    Pepper Grinder, an action-packed drill-bit digventure from independent developer Ahr Ech and Devolver Digital, is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 28th. Play the free demo now.
