Based on an interview on the Korean website Ruliweb.com, Stellar Blade Director Kim Hyung Tae has stated that the game will not have any microtransactions unless they do costume collaborations with other brands. On top of that they are now working on additional costumes and NG+ as free post-launch content.

Stellar Blade has received mostly positive response from the gaming community since it launched the demo on 29 March. The game is set to release on 26 April exclusively for PlayStation 5.
