Developer SHIFT UP through a PlayStation Blog post has announced that the latest update for Stellar Blade which is set to arrive within a few hours of this post, will include the much-awaited Boss Challenge mode.
After defeating a boss, the game will analyze your battle data like battle time, number of perfect dodges and many more so you can test your skills and compare with your friends.
If you defeat all the bosses in the Boss Challenge on Normal Difficulty or higher, you’ll earn the Neurolink Suit for Eve.
The update will also bring a new Nano Suit, White Kunoichi and Black Kunoichi.
Last but not least the latest update will bring the following quality-of-life improvements to the game:
- If you switch to ranged attack mode and switch back while locked on to an enemy, you will automatically lock on to the enemy again.
- Add an option to always show the compass in the HUD
Stellar Blade is available for PlayStation 5 with the above-listed update on 24 May 2024.
