Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games have released a new story trailer for its much-anticipated game Star Wars Outlaws. The trailer expands more on Star Wars’s underworld during the events between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
The player will control Kay Vess, a scoundrel who seems to manage to get the attention of Sliro, the leader of a new, foreboding criminal syndicate Zerek Besh. The only way to fix this apparently, is to pull off the greatest heists in the galaxy. Together with her companion Nix, Kay will have to travel across the galaxy to gather crew members and resources to pull off the heists.
In the trailer, we also see iconic cameos like Han Solo in Carbonite and Jabba the Hutt. The game looks like it will have more stealth elements and pits players not only against the dirty underworld folks but also the Imperial Military forces. I am sure there will be more news during the Ubisoft Forward on 10 June 2024.
Star Wars Outlaws is an open-world action game that is being developed by Massive Entertainment and is set to launch on 30 August 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
