Spotify has been part of the usage of gamers these days. In Malaysia alone, streaming on gaming consoles has increased by more than 63% over the past year.
Both Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles that have Spotify custom build integrations saw a major increase in usage.
And thus, Spotify reveals the top artist, songs, and video game soundtracks that gamers globally and in Malaysia have been listening to this year. Spotify has noted that there was nearly a 55% global increase in streaming from gaming consoles over the past year.
What is even more interesting is the usage of Spotify in the early mornings between 6 AM to 9 AM has an increase by more than 47%.
