Don’t we all wish life is just a video game sometimes? Ryan Reynolds who is famous for playing Deadpool and Pikachu in the latest movie Detective Pikachu will be staring in a movie called Free Guy. Ryan’s character discovers that he is actually a character in a video game town called Free City. He soon finds out that the developers want to shut down the game and he goes on a quest to save it.

The film is being directed by Shawn Levy who did Night at the Museum and a few episodes of Netflix’s Stranger Things. Besides Ryan, the movie will star Taika Waititi (Director of Thor: Ragnarok and voice of Korg), Joe Keery (Stranger Things), Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Utkarsh Ambudkar (Pitch Perfect) and Lil Rel Howery (Get Out and Bird Box).
The movie is being produced by 20th Century Fox and has a 3rd July 2020 release date.
