The hit Japanese bullet hell shmup lands on the Nintendo Switch this June with a physical edition coming late 2019.

The Game developer and publisher, mebius. is excited to announce that the hit side-scrolling bullet hell shmup, Rolling Gunner will be available at Nintendo Switch on June 20 across North America and Europe. A physical edition of Rolling Gunner is also planned for release in late 2019.

    About Rolling Gunner
The year is 2061 and it has been nearly 30 years since the new metallic element “Busterium” was discovered by the Lerman Matsunaga corporation at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Utilizing this new alloy, Lerman Matsunaga developed a new clean energy engine called the Buster Engine, which was adopted worldwide and quickly replaced fossil fuels and nuclear power engines. With nearly all of the world’s engines now being centrally powered and controlled by a fully automated computer system called BAC, the unthinkable has happened: BAC has gained intelligence and has turned against humanity.

With humanity on the verge of extinction, a secret internal division of Lerman has the vision to design a special weapon for the BAC: the Rolling Gun. Operated and controlled through brain implant, humanity’s fate now rests in the hands of a courageous RF-42R STORK pilot who must set out to destroy the BAC at the old Lerman Matsunaga building, which has become an almost impenetrable BAC fortress. This is the last hope of mankind.

Kelvin is the Chinese William Shakespeare of video games, whatever he says or do is never straight to the point. You are in a furious gunfight with an enemy faction and you need more ammo, expect Kelvin to recite a poem or two first before finally realizing you are half-dead, surrounded, helpless, disappointed, the list can go on really.
