PQube and developer MassHive Media announced Potion Permit for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. In terms of story, the game starts as a devastating illness hits the village of Moonbury, the Medical Association decides to send their most potent chemist: you! Diagnose symptoms, gather ingredients, brew potions, and cure ailments in this open-ended sim RPG, available next year 2021!
This is how Potion Permit plays:
1. Receive Requests from Residents.
The inhabitants of Moonbury will occasionally fall ill and call for you aid. Keep the town’s infrastructure intact by curing them in a timely manner, so they can get back to their everyday lives!
2. Diagnose Symptoms to decide which Cure to craft.
Hmm… a low heart rate and bloated liver. Dander Sneezer, perhaps? No, these are sure signs of Sticky Sweat. This patient has been consuming too much gelatin! Easily remedied, you’ll just need to craft some Jelly Remover.
3. Collect the right Ingredients by Gathering them.
… by hunting Monsters. Sometimes you will need to turn your trusty tools into weapons and collect them from monsters prowling the nearby wilderness. Combat in real-time and various concoctions to buff yourself or inflict status ailments on your adversaries!
4. Brew Remedies in your Cauldron.
The ingredients you gather can be mixed in your cauldron to brew medicine, vitamins, and more. As you become more experienced, higher-level recipes will become available, requiring more ingredients and bestowing stronger effects.
5. Build Relationships and find Romance.
… Upgrade the Town. As your approval with the townsfolk grows, you’ll be able to upgrade public buildings and expand the explorable areas around town. You may even be able to design your own home!
