Latest OnePlus 12 To Launch In China This Dec 11, Rest Of The World In Early 2024

OnePlus has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, in China. This launch marks the tenth anniversary of OnePlus and is celebrated with what the company describes as a “decade-long masterpiece.”

Louis Li, President of OnePlus China, emphasized the phone’s focus on delivering a fast and smooth experience in high-frequency usage scenarios, calling it OnePlus’ best gift to its users for its tenth anniversary.

Key Features of the OnePlus 12:

1. Performance: The phone is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, boasting 30% faster CPU and 25% faster GPU speeds, along with a 10% improvement in power efficiency. It features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 ROM, enhanced by RAM-Vitalization and ROM-Vitalization technologies to ensure sustained performance across various intensive tasks.
2. Display: A 120Hz 2K Super Fluid AMOLED display with LTPO technology offers vibrant colors and a peak brightness of 4500 nits, promising an immersive viewing experience.
3. Charging and Battery: The device supports 100W SUPERVOOC fast wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. It is equipped with a 5400 mAh dual-cell battery system to ensure extended usage.
4. Cooling System: The Dual Cryo-velocity Cooling System has been introduced for better heat management, ensuring comfortable use even under demanding conditions.
5. Camera: The OnePlus 12 features a new triple camera system, including a 50MP main camera co-developed with Sony, a 64MP 3X periscope telephoto camera, and a 48MP ultra-wide camera. The phone also incorporates the latest self-developed HDR algorithm and the 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile, aiming to offer exceptional photography capabilities.
6. Design: Inspired by luxurious timepieces, the design of the OnePlus 12 follows the theme of its predecessor, the OnePlus 11. It features a hollow-curved design, starry dial, and circular characters on the camera module, alluding to the passage of time. The phone also showcases a new colorway, Flowy Emerald, inspired by the natural world.

The OnePlus 12 will be available for purchase in China from December 11, 2023. A global release, along with other products, is expected in early 2024.
