Keeping it light, Nintendo finally announced their Nintendo Switch Lite design focused on the handheld mode. Launching worldwide on September 20, 2019, pricing at $199.99/ 827.66 MYR with optional color of yellow, gray, and turquoise.

Due to the main focus on handheld, it does not feature detachable Joy-Cons, IR motion camera, HD rumble, kickstand, with smaller 720p screen that measures 5.5 inches and no output video to TV. It may play all games in a Switch Library which supported handheld mode but some games may have restrictions. Added to that, is the newly announced limited Switch Lite Zacian and Zamazenta Edition featuring cyan and magenta buttons ( image below) with the release of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield on November 8, 2019.
