SQUARE ENIX CO. LTD. has unveiled details and dates regarding the release of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 – Lunar Tear Edition for the Playstation 4 in Asia. The game is scheduled for release on April 22, 2021, more news on physical pre-orders will soon be announced as we near the date.
Additionally, excerpts of gameplay footage during the “NieR TGS 2020 Special Programming” has been released on the Square Enix Asia YouTube Channel.
The physical edition of the game will include the following:
● PlayStation®4 Game Package
● “Lunar Tear” Collector’s Box
● Steelbook® Case – A metal case featuring stunning artwork by character designer Akihiko Yoshida
● Grimoire Pin Set – Grimoire Weiss, Grimoire Noir, and Grimoire Rubrum pins presented in a specialized display case.
● NieR Soundtrack CD Set – A two-disc collection – one disc featuring newly-recorded and arranged music for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, the other disc being a special arrangement disc featuring versions of tracks that are exclusive to the White Snow Edition. Presented in a premium Grimoire Weiss-inspired package.
The game will be a collaboration between developer Toylogic and Square Enix. It marks the first global release of RepliCant, which was exclusive to the Japanese PS3 version.
