My Time at Evershine saw its Kickstarter campaign kicked off with immense success yesterday with over 9,000 backers having registered their support so far. As the third instalment in the popular life simulation series, My Time at Evershine is already generating significant buzz, promising to build upon the strong foundation of its predecessors, My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock.
Ever since the game was announced on the title’s new Reddit sub, the news has been warmly welcomed by eager fans. Pathea Games provided intriguing insights into Evershine’s design and gameplay mechanics, many of which are based on player feedback and interests gathered from Portia and Sandrock.
The Kickstarter campaign launched with a goal of $200,000 USD and astonishingly, this target was reached within just 35 minutes. By the third hour, the total had surpassed $500,000, and at the time of writing—12 hours since launch—the figure stands at an impressive $840,000. With the end of the month approaching and salaries on the horizon, it’s likely that the total will continue to grow.
Backing options start at $20 USD, which includes a Steam key for the game upon release, a heartfelt thank-you note from the developers, and exclusive backer-only wallpapers. The highest pledge tier, priced at $10,000 USD, offers all previous rewards, plus the opportunity for the backer to become a recruitable NPC in Evershine and spend a day with the development team at their office (travel expenses excluded).
At the $500,000 mark, Pathea Games announced a new stretch goal of USD 1 million, with additional in-game features being unlocked for every $100,000 raised. With the campaign currently at 84% of that milestone, it’s highly anticipated that the $1 million target will be reached soon, unlocking even more content for the game.
According to Pathea Games’ latest updates, My Time at Evershine is scheduled for release in Spring 2026, with the game initially launching on PC. Console versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will follow shortly after.
While it is unlikely that the game will make it to the current generation of the Nintendo Switch due to hardware limitations, the team is optimistic about the potential should a next-gen Nintendo console release. For handheld enthusiasts, Evershine will be fully playable on the Steam Deck via the PC version.
