GRIMVALOR combines fluid platforming mechanics with deep and versatile combat in a 2.5D action platformer, set in a mysterious dark kingdom for the player to explore. Thanks to polished touch screen controls and extensive support for game controllers, zipping around treacherous levels and slaying hordes of deadly monsters has never been as fun on a mobile device.
“Rated 4.9 out of 5 in the iOS App Store, we wanted to take our time to polish the Android version of GRIMVALOR to achieve the same level of quality on Android,” said Direlight’s Ville Mäkynen. “After extensive internal testing and the encouraging comments from the open beta, I am eager to finally see it launch in Google Play.”
GRIMVALOR has been in Early Access beta since the beginning of May during which it has received very positive early reviews and constructive feedback to fine-tune the game for the official release. The minimum requirements to run GRIMVALOR are OpenGL ES 3.0 support and at least 1.5 GB of RAM. This includes the vast majority of Android devices released in recent years.
GRIMVALOR is free to download on Google Play. The first act, with 1-2+ hours of gameplay, can be played without any cost and the full premium game with all five acts can be unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase of $6.99 (US Dollars). There are no other microtransactions in the game.
