From the Cosplay Commuter, to Cosplay Computer in 2021! THE MAGIC RAIN is bringing their flagship event to everyone’s homes with a Discord-themed party that is set to be a one-of-a-kind event experience where attendees will be able to enjoy a full day of exciting games, activities, and performances.
As to how their motto of bringing cosplay to public places was the theme back then, things are still looking a little different now as Malaysia is still knee-deep in its pandemic state. THE MAGIC RAIN has decided to engage with their participants on a more personal level by taking this event to a place where such a community feels at home and be safe at the same time.
Cosplay Computer 2021 is a one-day Amazing Race-style event that will take place on Discord, where anime, cosplay and gaming fans from all over Southeast Asia can team up and participate in a variety of mini-games alongside some of their favorite influencers and streamers.
Activities for everybody!
For this event, Discord attendees will be divided into teams of 6-10, where each team will compete to score points by taking part in a plethora of party games and group activities, including Just Dance, Taboo, Jeopardy, and more. The highest scoring teams will stand to win amazing mystery prizes!
Guess the guest?
A lucky few teams will have the chance to be greeted and joined by Cosplay Computer‘s guest stars from the likes of well-known streamers, cosplayers, and content creators from the anime, cosplay, and gaming communities.
For those who are familiar with the TikTok scene, a familiar face will be Emceeing and entertaining everyone throughout the day! Local TikTok artist, streamer, and content creator Pudds will keep everyone entertained and energized as she hosts and emcee’s throughout the event.
Did someone say after-party?
Ending the event experience on a high note will be the Cosplay Computer’s after-party concert! Fans will be treated to an unforgettable musical experience featuring performances from all over Southeast Asia!
