The franchise has seen several games being released, starting with Little Nightmares, produced by Bandai Namco Europe and developed by Tarsier Studios, in 2017. The game puts the players as Six as they try to escape the Maw, an underwater vessel filled with grotesque inhabitants. Its sequel, Little Nightmares II, released in 2021, told the story of Mono, a young boy with a paper bag on his head, meeting the girl in the yellow raincoat. This encounter leads them to explore various locations in Pale City, a place distorted by the humming transmission of the Signal Tower.
In addition to this, Very Little Nightmares, a mobile game developed by Alike Studio where players must escape the Nest and discover more about Six’s backstory, was released in 2019.
Little Nightmares I is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Little Nightmares II is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Very Little Nightmares is available on iOS and Android.
