Milestone Games has released new info regarding the upcoming Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged. The game will be adding an Elimination mode and also a Career Mode.
The game features a variety of modes for all types of players to enjoy on and off the track. Here is the list of modes revealed so far:
- Elimination – Try not to be the last in the pack as the slowest player will be eliminated after a certain amount of time until only one remains.
- Drift Master – Take on other players in a drift competition and see who can get the most points based on your style and precision.
- Waypoint – Go off the track and explore to your heart’s content in this mode and find shortcuts to be the fastest to the next checkpoint.
- Grab the Gears – Players will need to be fast and go around an open track to get as many gears as possible.
- Clash Derby – Only Monster Trucks are allowed as players smash into each other in this chaotic arena to see who reigns supreme.
Career Mode
Unlike the first game, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged will be adding two new protagonists, Robert and Darla, alongside their robotic assistant XR046, who are called to save the day and restore peace after a series of creatures are mistakenly released by Professor Tanabe. There will be animated cutscenes and five boss battles that will surely immerse players in the narrative.

Let us not forget that the awesome Track Builder and Livery Editor are back with all new items and functions. New environments and modules are now available to mess and once done, you can share them with other people. The Livery Editor has a Sticker Editor which gives players more options to be creative and share unique patterns and shapes.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is set for release on 19 October 2023 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam or Epic Games Store.
