Modern retro-styled arcade racer Horizon Chase Turbo has been collecting prizes and recognition since it was first released, back in May 2018. Now, being the second highest rated racing game released in 2018 for PS4 according to Metacritic, Aquiris is proud to have its racing title recognised by Sony and taking part in the PlayStation Essentials Sale that has already started (only in the Americas) and lasts until 5th of February. During this campaign, the game will be sold at its maximum discount so far: 25% off for all players, and a whopping 35% off only for PS+ members.
To celebrate this recognition of being part of the PlayStation Essentials Sale, Horizon Chase Turbo is receiving the most expected update to date, including
- The new Playground Mode.
- Exclusive car skins.
- New colors.
- New “cable guy” car.
The new Playground mode will feature a rotative competition which represents 5 new races each time. Inclusive of Time Attack races with no opponents, change in weather and time of day, mirrored races, infinite nitros, restrictions on which cars competitors can use. And there will be 5 difficulty levels for players to choose from, and if that is not challenging enough for you. You can always compete in leaderboards — Global or Friends only — that stays online on for the duration of a season.
In Playground mode, each season brings a new set of surprises and a new place to compete every two weeks.
