11 bit studios, renowned for their impactful game “This War of Mine,” has officially announced the launch of “Frostpunk 2,” the eagerly awaited sequel to their society survival game.
Set to debut on Windows PC on July 25th, 2024, “Frostpunk 2” extends the narrative and gameplay elements that garnered critical acclaim for its predecessor.
The game is now available for pre-order, with a Digital Deluxe edition that includes exclusive early access to a seven-day beta in April, focusing on the sandbox mode of the game.
“Frostunk 2” delves deeper into the post-apocalyptic world where players are challenged with managing an expanding city amidst harsh realities and moral dilemmas. The game introduces new factions within the city, each vying for influence, adding layers of strategy as players decide whom to align with.
The base game is priced at 44.99 USD/EUR and 37.99 GBP, while the Digital Deluxe edition is available at 74.99 USD/EUR and 62.99 GBP.
The Digital Deluxe edition, offering additional content including access to post-release DLCs and an exclusive preview of the story mode, is currently available with a 10% discount on Steam.
The announcement also highlighted “Frostpunk 2” will be accessible on day one with PC Game Pass, broadening its availability.
