We all know that Death Stranding will be using a form of the DECIMA ENGINE from Guerrilla Games. Kojima will be using the same engine that created Horizon Zero Dawn with some tweaks of his own. That was 3 years ago and now, Kojima returns the favour by showing them what he has been doing with the engine and Death Stranding. By the tweets from Guerrilla Games developers, we can sure say that they seem very impressed.
Left: 3 years ago we visited Guerilla Games who welcome us with their source code.
Right: today we showed what we’ve developed with DECIMA ENGINE. pic.twitter.com/jonhYXEeA0— Ayako (Touchy!) (@Kaizerkunkun) January 15, 2019
Three years ago we gave @KojiPro2015_EN a copy of our @DecimaEngine in this box. Today @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN came back to @Guerrilla to show us the incredible things he’s making with it in #DeathStranding. So impressed! pic.twitter.com/8dLpdIh1bI

It seems that Death Stranding is living up to the hype so far and we can’t wait to see what Kojima’s next game will be. Sadly, no official release date has been announced.
Death Stranding will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
