Call of Duty has just announced that they will be using RICOCHET Anti-Cheat, a multi-faceted approach we’ll be rolling out to combat cheating in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone.
Here are some of the highlights of the system from this blog.
- Will feature new server-side tools which monitor analytics to identify cheating, enhanced investigation processes to stamp out cheaters, updates to strengthen account security, and more.
- Backend anti-cheat security features will launch alongside Call of Duty: Vanguard, and later this year with the Pacific update coming to Call of Duty: Warzone.
- Introduces a new PC kernel-level driver, which monitors and reports applications that attempt to interact with Call of Duty: Warzone, allowing us to determine if a machine is utilizing unauthorized processes to manipulate the game.
RICOCHET Anti-Cheat will be released for Call of Duty: Warzone via an update alongside the release of the Pacific update for Warzone later this year.
