Electronic Arts has released Battlefield 2042 for its Early Access period which will run until the game officially launches on 19 November 2021. Players who purchased the game’s Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition, as well as EA Play Pro subscribers, will be able to start playing today with those who have the Play First Trial for EA Play, Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be given access to the game for 10 hours.
Battlefield 2042 is set to push the capabilities of the new hardware to bring the next generation of Battlefield by featuring 128 players matches on the latest consoles and PC with the use of its Frostbite game engine. The multiplayer offers three modes called All-Out Warfare, Hazard Zone and Battlefield Portal that help cater to all types of players in this next generation of Battlefield.
Battlefield 2042 Standard Edition is available for pre-order and is set to launch on retail and digital storefronts on 19 November 19 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
