Arcade-Style, Action-Movie Shooter RICO is Available Now!

Publisher Rising Star Games and developer Ground Shatter has announced that RICO, the buddy cop shooter inspired by modern action cinema, is now available on Nintendo Switch.

RICO is an arcade style tactical shooter where the players have to prepare to kick down doors and shoot their way through. In addition, players have the chance unlock weapons, equipment and traits to defeat the crime bosses in the main case mode. There are only twenty four hours for players to solve the case and bring justice to the criminals syndicate which poison the city of San Amaro. The game also allow players to co op with a friend to play and support each other through the intense urban shootout in both online or local co op. There is also a leaderboard for players to compete with one another with a fix load out via the daily play mode

James Parker, Director at Ground Shatter says, We wanted to make a game that was a technical tour de force and broke new ground in its mechanics, gameplay and storytelling… but then we found that kicking doors and shooting bad guys was a lot more fun so we made a game about that instead. Plus there’s co-op and slow motion so it’s pretty much always cool.
