Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story, a spin-off to the Way Of Samurai series has been recently rated by Australian Classification video game rating board hinting it’s potential release to the west and online interactivity following publisher Spike Chunsoft’s announcement of the Japanese release on PlayStation 4, PC and Switch in early 2020.

This procedural generated dungeon game in isometric view follows a simple samurai story, traveling to a forbidden land to save a kidnapped daughter of a blacksmith. Earning money as a blacksmith by day but travel into a gateway to fight enemies by night for material gathering and swords collection.

Although the Japanese release date has been announced, we are still awaiting confirmation for the Western release so stay tuned.
