Acer Malaysia has introduced refreshed specifications to its eco-minded Aspire Vero laptop, offering more options for consumers while improving the product with the latest technology.

The new Acer Aspire Vero powered by up to 12th gen Intel Core i7 processor enables better performance and power efficiency. Certification by the Intel Evo platform assures the new Aspire Vero delivers premium user experiences such as wake from sleep in less than 1 second, more than 4-hour battery life from a 30-minute charge and more than 10 hours real-world battery life.
Complete with 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD that is sufficient for users’ daily usage, it also comes with an easy-to-upgrade and repair design to extend device lifespan. Enhanced from its predecessor, the new Aspire Vero uses ocean-bound plastic for its touchpad, with a new surface treatment method that gives it a glass-like feel, providing better tactile experience for users.
The new Aspire Vero comes with VeroSense application for users to monitor the device and energy-saving mode to extend battery life. Inheriting the design language from the predecessor, 99% of the 15.6-inch display panel can be recycled while 30% and 50% of the chassis and keycaps of the Aspire Vero are respectively made from post-consumer plastic (PCR). The iconic mirrored “R” and “E” keys reinforced the call to reduce, reuse and recycle are carried forward too.
Thanks to the efforts of the Acer Research and Design team, Acer Aspire Vero’s packaging eliminates the need for plastic and foam while still protecting the device. Such innovative thinking won the device a Red Dot Design Award 2022. Made from 90% recycled paper, the packaging can be recycled again if not sent to biodegrade. This is part of Acer’s continuous effort to support and grow alongside with the recyclable material supply chain. In addition, the packaging can be turned into an ergonomic laptop stand, storage or nursery tray. This allows users to give it new purpose and a second life to extend its usefulness before sending it to be recycled.
Available immediately at Acer eStore, Acer official store on Shopee and Lazada as well as authorized Acer resellers, the new Acer Aspire Vero is priced from RM2,599 with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021. In conjunction with the arrival of new Acer Aspire Vero and supporting the goal of raising environmental awareness, Acer Malaysia extended its trade-in program until 31 December2022.
