SHARGE has unveiled the Shargeek 170, its latest addition to the power bank market. Following its predecessors, the Shargeek 100 and 130, the Shargeek 170 is distinguished by its unique design featuring visible circuitry, but it also introduces significant upgrades in charging capabilities.
The Shargeek 170 is notable for its transparent, prism-like design and boasts a maximum output of 170W and a maximum input of 140W. It includes a Shargeek 170mart display that allows users to monitor and control their charging experience and offers a water-resistant build for enhanced durability.
In terms of design, the Shargeek 170 departs from traditional power bank aesthetics, opting for a pentahedral shape and a transparent casing. This design choice is inspired by the album “Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd.
Performance-wise, the Shargeek 170 offers rapid charging capabilities with a maximum output of 170W and PD 3.1 140W max single-port output. Its fast recharging feature can power the device from 0% to 50% in just 20 minutes, and it supports pass-through charging.
The power bank can simultaneously fast-charge up to three devices, with a capacity of up to 65W fast charging from its USB-C port, even when all ports are in use. The Shargeek 170 boasts a large 24,000mAh capacity and contains six electric-vehicle-grade batteries, maintaining over 80% capacity after 800+ charge cycles.
Another feature of the Shargeek 170 is its “Full-Color Smart Display,” powered by Sharge’s Energy Storage Management OS. This display provides real-time information on charging, discharging, and alerts users to any abnormal conditions, including temperature and power adjustments.
Recognizing the need for charging low-current devices like wireless earbuds and smartwatches, the Shargeek 170 includes a Low-current Mode, ensuring safe and efficient charging for these smaller devices.
In terms of safety, the Shargeek 170 is rated as water-resistant and fireproof, with an IP66 rating for protection against water splashes. It also meets airline safety standards with its 86.4Wh rating, facilitating hassle-free travel. The power bank is equipped with comprehensive safety features, including over-current, over-voltage, overload, under-voltage, overheat, and short-circuit protection.
