Hello people ! I just want to share what I’ve just experienced with Digimon World Next Order so far, I’ve managed to play it for a little more than 3 hours now (still in chapter 1 by the way) and I am having a good time getting confused by this game. Around the same time in 2016 last year, Bandai Namco launched Digimonstory Cybersleuth , I loved it very much , the game was simple yet addictive, cartoonish looking yet artistic. For the new Digimon game this year however, Bandai Namco opted for a more “mature” approach in almost every sense. Be it graphical to the overall mechanics of the game. It gets pretty confusing at first especially since I expected a turn based combat system but in this new game you get something slightly different. Watch the video below to see what I mean.
Almost everything feels different than last year’s Digimonstory Cybersleuth, you get a more refined training system now for your Digimon partners and there is a skill tree available now for tamers too ! I wish I could say more but like I mentioned, I am still in chapter 1 as I write this and I look forward to discover more asap but with Chinese New Year coming so soon and plans already made, it is quite frustrating for me for not being able to spend as much time as I want exploring this game further.
