Its official, Xbox Series X to launch on 10 November at the starting price of $499

After a round of rumours and leaks regarding the price of the upcoming Microsoft’s next-generation console, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Microsoft has finally made it official by announcing that both consoles will be coming on the 10 November 2020. Xbox Series X will be priced at US$499 while its lower-spec sister Xbox Series S will be priced at US$299. Both console’s pre-orders will be available on the 22 September 2020.

To help ease the burden, Microsoft will be having an instalment plan for the Xbox Series X at a monthly rate of US$34.99 for 24 months, and Xbox Series S at US$24.99 a month for 24 months via Xbox All Access, which includes 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

On top of that, Microsoft also announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC members will receive an EA Play membership at no additional cost starting this holiday, which can be used across Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 PCs, and grants access to more than 60 Electronic Arts titles.

Here is the console specification released by Microsoft for its Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
