Wolcen Studio, the creators of Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, in partnership with Galaktus Publishing, are pleased to announce their latest project: Bullet Noir.
This fast-paced, top-down shooter immerses players in a gritty, noir-inspired world, where four protagonists scour the shadowy streets in search of their mentor’s killer, driven by a relentless thirst for vengeance. Bullet Noir is set to launch in Early Access on November 7th, 2024.
Bullet Noir takes no prisoners: Featuring a one-hit-one-kill mechanic and seamless twin-stick shooting. Wolcen Studio’s new title lets players choose their own approach. Whether charging in guns blazing or executing a stealthy, calculated assault, the decision is entirely theirs.
Visually, Bullet Noir offers an immersive noir art style, creating a dark and gritty atmosphere that complements the game’s intense mood. From a top-down perspective, players will navigate the shadowy and dangerous city, bracing for fast and challenging gameplay at every turn.
Story
Bullet Noir features a rich, story-driven experience, inviting players to uncover the motivations and backstories of four distinct protagonists. As the narrative unfolds, players will navigate each character’s personal journey, intertwined with the larger plot.
Each protagonist comes equipped with unique skills, and mastering these abilities will be essential for overcoming obstacles and outsmarting enemies in creative ways.
Players will need to adapt to these varying playstyles to succeed in the game’s challenging combat scenarios. The story unfolds through a chapter-based structure, with each chapter focusing on a different protagonist.
The game made its public debut at Gamescom 2024 and PAX West, where it received an enthusiastic response from attendees. Visitors to the Tokyo Game Show (September 26–29) will also have the opportunity to experience a hands-on preview of Bullet Noir at the Galaktus Publishing booth (no. 10-W13).
Bullet Noir is set to launch in Early Access on November 7th, 2024, with the full release date to be announced at a later time.
Players eager to dive into the action can follow upcoming announcements and add the game to their wishlist on Steam. Additionally, a demo version will be available worldwide ahead of release as part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest.
