Frostpunk 2, the latest installment in 11-bit studios’ city-builder and society survival franchise, is now available on PC, with console versions set to arrive next year.
As a follow-up to 11-bit Studios’ acclaimed 2018 bestseller, Frostpunk 2 has been equally warmly welcomed by the media, despite once again plunging players into an icy apocalypse.
Throughout development, Frostpunk 2’s core focus was to be a worthy sequel that stayed true to its roots while expanding the core experience in new and exciting ways.
It’s heartening to see the game described as everything players “could want from a sequel” and a “sequel that takes the thrilling cold-survival city-building heart of Frostpunk and evolves it in every way.”
The game has also been hailed as “a challenging strategy game that sets itself apart from its contemporaries,” “the most engrossing city-builder” since the original, and a title that “pushes the boundaries of what a city-building game and survival experience can be.”
After years of hard work, the team at 11 bit studios is truly grateful for all the praise and recognition from fans, creators, and media. Thank you.
