Frostpunk 2, the latest installment in 11-bit studios’ city-builder and society survival franchise, is now available on PC, with console versions set to arrive next year.
As a follow-up to 11-bit Studios’ acclaimed 2018 bestseller, Frostpunk 2 has been equally warmly welcomed by the media, despite once again plunging players into an icy apocalypse.
Throughout development, Frostpunk 2’s core focus was to be a worthy sequel that stayed true to its roots while expanding the core experience in new and exciting ways.
It’s heartening to see the game described as everything players “could want from a sequel” and a “sequel that takes the thrilling cold-survival city-building heart of Frostpunk and evolves it in every way.”

Frostpunk 2 is available on PC from September 20th, also via PC Game Pass and physical, boxed edition made in cooperation with Skybound Games.
Limited Special Edition features a multi-layered shadow box, the Deluxe Edition of the game, postcards, a metal keychain, a faction patch, and sticker.
