Tekken 8 has revealed the final character in the game’s launch roster with the announcement of Reina, an all-new character coming to the legendary fighting game franchise.
Nicknamed the “Purple Lightning,” Reina is known for using her lightning-quick moves to overwhelm her opponents. She is surrounded by mystery and the only known fact about her is that she is a student at the Mishima Polytechnical School. She also seems to have a very particular interest in fighting Jin.
Developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Tekken 8 harnesses Unreal Engine 5 to bring new weight and atmosphere to the game’s battles, with every character remodelled in stunning detail and new dynamic and destructible environments added to the game.
The title is launching on 26 January 2024, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, and is available now for pre-order.
